Event Description

As a follow up to our 30 October 10 face to face meeting in Dubai (TA Dubai Chapter / TAEDTECH Sig event),  where we discussed "Managing Technology in the Classroom" we've arranged for an interview with
Dr. Phillip Towndrow, Research Scientist in the Center for Research in Pedagogy and Practice at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. He's had a chance to review the work done that day (see this link for a look at Q&As from this event) and will share his own perspectives on the topic.

Dr. Towndrow may also give us a bit of a sneak preview of his presentation at the Annual TESOL Arabia Conference - 10 - 13 March 2011.

True, thanks for pointing that out, and easily done.  Simply visit http://learningtimes.net and register or leave yourself 3 minutes for that step on your way to the event at http://home.learningtimes.net/learningtimes?go=273662

Learning Times have been reliable and highly professional partners to worthy events such as this for over a decade now.  It is thanks to them that we have access to the Elluminate room we use for this event.

Don't forget ... if you are new to this, you will need a learningtimes account/login.

I'm glad to see this event is gaining some attention to what we've been doing each week since last September.  And we're not the only ones broadcasting professional development and leaving a wealth of recordings that you can access when you do get time.  See the calendar at http://taedtech.ning.com/

All our events are recorded.  There is an archive at  http://learning2gether.pbworks.com/

And don't forget, if you have something to share, you are welcome and encouraged to present at this event.

I'm in the same boat as Hala - very busy but really interested in learning and catching up on new ideas that can be applied with IT with YL  and business classes....technically challenged but am trying to learn :)
